A Day in the Life

Today we took a break and stayed home, especially since both kids ended up having fevers and runny noses today. It was nice to be home and get some much needed cleaning done! I think the kids enjoyed themselves too. Plenty of napping, playing and eating to be enjoyed by all!!

Look at my big girl using her big girl cup with a crazy straw!! I can't believe that she is nearly a year and a half already!

Bubbie and Boo showing off their yogurt mustaches and beards. How cute is that?!

Catching Up Part III: Halloween Family Fun

This was before we left the house for Night of the Living Zoo!! Bubbie wasn't crazy about wearing his costume, but by the end of the evening, he didn't want to take it off. Unfortunately, we didn't make it for too long before Boo was just ready to get home to bed.

Waiting in line at the Zoo.

This will be my Nephew's first Halloween!

Yesterday we had a Boo Bash with our SAHM's group. It was a potluck dinner and the kids got to do crafts and trick or treating! All the food was delicious, but Daddy especially liked the chili. The kids enjoyed the trick or treating. Who knew that love of candy started at such an early age! Once the kids were good and sugared up, they were exhausted and had yet another great nights sleep!

Checking out the goods!

Boo turned her hair bow into a bow tie!

All the kiddos after the trick or treating.

This marked the end of our evening.

For the party, I dressed as a black cat. It was good for a chuckle from our next door neighbor, whom I generally thought didn't have a sense of humor! You learn something new everyday!!

Catching Up Part II: Applejack Pumpkin Patch

The day after Bubbie's birthday party, we went with my Husband's family to Applejack Pumpkin Patch. The weather was a little cool because it was so windy, but overall it wasn't too bad. There was definitely no shortage of activities for the kids and they all had a great time!

Trying out the tire horse swings, this was the Bubbie and Boo's favorite!

Playing in the Hay Fort, I think this is a close favorite of the kids too.

Bubbie picked his own pumpkin and was able to lift it, but he did need help to carry it.

Bubbie is really good at picking pumpkins, he finds the nice round ones!

Eating caramel apples that their Aunt Misty bought for them, yum!

Boo made a huge mess of herself with caramel apples.

Boo wore out after all the activities.

After the Pumpkin Patch, we had two very worn out children and they had a great nights sleep!
