Christmas with Granddad

On Wednesday, we all went to Aunt M's house to have a little Christmas celebration with Bubbie and Boo's Granddad. We all brought desserts and other snack items. I personally made our traditional Christmas cookie, Peanut Butter Blossoms! Though I changed up the recipe a little by using Brachs stars in dark chocolate and I believe they were delicious!

After we finished our visiting and eating, all the kids sat down to open their gifts from Granddad. They all seemed to enjoy their gifts from Granddad and they really enjoyed playing with them. Bubbie received a toy that you assemble in different designs and drop marbles through it, then watch where they end up! Bubbie is in LOVE with this toy, as were his cousins. I believe that was the toy most played with that night! I was a great gift and yet so simple, no batteries, only imagination and some creativity!

Granddad and Little A opened gifts together.

Boo was wandering around, checking out the lay of the house and playing with everything she could get her hands on.

Big A, hanging out at our get together.

Bubbie playing in his cousins' room. I think he was trying to avoid the crowd, hehe!

Boo running in the hallway. Doesn't she look absolutely adorable in that dress!

We started putting Bubbie's gift together for him to play.

Then all the cousins got in on the action!

They did so well with sharing and playing nicely together, it was a Christmas Miracle!!

It was funny listening to them giggle as they watched the marbles go through the tubes.

I do declare that is was a nice beginning to our week of Holiday celebration!
