Pasta and Strawberries, per the Birthday Girl's request! Interesting combination, you say? It was, but to her defense, it was good.
Once we finished our dinner, we had CAKE!! And not just any kind, it was CHOCOLATE cake!! Mmmmm, this cake was sinful! Catie was a little disappointed because she wanted Strawberry Cake, but chocolate was an acceptable substitute. We also promised her that when she has her party, that we would order her a Strawberry Cake. Thankfully she is still in a stage where negotiating is easy(sometimes).
This is Catie getting excited about Daddy lighting her candle on her cake. You can also see her Birthday shirt that she is donning from Dulu Designs. Catie insisted on wearing her shirt the whole day! I'd say she LOVES her Birthday shirt!
Once the candle was lit......well, I'll let the video show you the rest :)
