In my mind, I had imagined an excited Bubbie, when he would find the Backyardigans flip-out sofa this Easter Morning, but it was quite the opposite. He looked at it and that was about it! After going through all his toys, Bubbie finally got excited about the sofa and he spent a majority of the day laying on the sofa and sitting on it as he watched his cartoons all day(that made me feel better). I suppose it was probably a lot to take in all at once for him. Any other day, I don't let Bubbie watch a lot of T.V. or eat candy, but today he got to have all the candy(and cake too) and watch all the T.V. he wanted. Thats what Holidays are for!

Except for the rain, today was a great day! Busy, but we all had a lot of fun. It started out with the kids finding their Easter Baskets that the Easter Bunny left for them(wink, wink). Then we had a wonderful Brunch with cinnamon, banana pancakes, sausage patties and eggs with cheese. Daddy and I cooked up the brunch while the kids played with their new toys and napped(except Bubbie, he went the whole day without a nap).

After our brunch, Granddad came over to help with our indoor egg hunt. Because as I mentioned before, it rained ALL DAY, ugh! Any other day, I wouldn't have minded much, but today the rain was a disappointment. We made the most of it and had fun. Hopefully I will post photos from Granddad soon! Bubbie really enjoyed doing the egg hunt around the house and did a good job finding the eggs. Then we went over to Grandmom's house for dinner and Bubbie and Boo got more stuff from the Easter Bunny and did another egg hunt with their cousins A and G. Afterwards we came home and crashed from one busy, sugar filled day!
