Yesterday we had to start the day with my niece's birthday party at 9am. Ugh, its hard to get out of the house that early and we were all so tired. Bubbie was still sleeping when it was time to leave. I'm generally of the mindset of don't wake the sleeping bear, but I had no choice. To make it up to him, I let him have a chocolate granola bar for breakfast, he was content with that. After the party, we had some running around to do and then came home around 2pm. We ate some lunch and the kids took a much needed nap. After Bubbie finished his nap, he went out with Daddy to work on the bikes. Daddy's bike had a flat tire, so instead of buying a new tube, he bought some sludge stuff to plug the hole and then proceeded to put it in all of the tires. Bubbie was more than happy to help him to air up the tires. When they finished we went for a ride and being that we haven't ridden our bikes since I was 5 months pregnant with Boo, I was hurting! That is quite a workout, not to mention the 50lbs the kids make up in the trailer. Bubbies favorite part was when we were going downhill on the road coming back to the house. He was making that uhhhhh sound, listening to his voice reverberate as we were on a not so smooth road.
Today, we are doing our normal Sunday routine. Hanging around the house and doing our weekly cleaning. Daddy also will be working on his same friend's computer today. Hopefully they will get it fixed, so he can stop stressing. He always gets stressed when he is trying to figure things out with computers. Nothing is a simple fix either. So here is to another beautiful lazy day!
